Coolest riding experience ever
Surfwheel SU allows you to use your body motion to accelerate and stop. The unique tire tread is designed to simulate surfing, giving you the thrill of on-land surfing. The full color LED light enables you to show off every move of yours at night.
Carry with you to surf around the city
Easily carry the 8kg (17lb.) lightweight Surfwheel SU around the city. A single charge of Surfwheel SU supports up to 15km (9m) distance ride. Bring an extra battery and surf non-stop for the whole day.

Reinventing the Wheel for On Land Surfing
Over the past two years, our team has extensively researched on how to develop a wheel that mimics the act of surfing on land. Our patent-pending design includes:

We've partnered with Warners Bros. to bring you the superhero SU versions or alternatively you can choose from our original Surfwheel SU black or blue version.
Surfwheeling is a sport! Wear protective gear at all times. It's easy to learn but requires practice to master. Use the motion of your body to control - lean forward to move and lean sideways to stop. Follow your intuition to move and swing just like you do while surfing.
How to start
- Wear protective gear before you start.
- Step on one side of Surfwheel. Then, put another foot on the Press button.
- Surfwheel will be initialized and you can start your ride. When you ride, your foot must remain on the Press button.
How to stop
- Lean sideways 30 degrees to stop or remove your foot from the Press button for over 2 seconds.
Connect to App
The Surfwheel App is available for Android and IOS. Use the Surfwheel App to update firmware, check your battery status, adjust the LED color, and track your speed.

Founded in 2014, Koofy Development Limited designs, develops, and manufactures light electric vehicles. We previously worked at Phillips and Belkin, but decided to follow our passion to bring the surfing on land experience to the market. We are a tech startup under Hong Kong Science Park Incubatees Program. We were selected as a Top 10 startup in 2016.
Most creators of electric skateboards and self-balanced vehicles claim to create "the last mile" vehicles to carry commuters from public transportation to their final destinations. This has never been our intention. Surfwheel is designed for fun and recreation.

1. Where are products made/designed?
Koofy Development Limited is based in Hong Kong; we work with partners who are from the US, Japan, Malaysia, Korea and Sweden to design Surfwheel R1/SU. Surfwheel is produced by highly qualified manufacturers located in Shenzhen, China.

2. How do I receive the goods?
All goods will be sent with first priority carrier. The prototypes for the Surfwheel SU were complete in early November. With your support, we are ready to move into mass production.

3. Why do we have Batman, Wonder Woman and Superman characters on Surfwheel SU?
We partnered with Warner Bros. to obtain a BVS 2016 character license. We are excited to bring these superhero themes to Surfwheel SU models.

4. How do I check my order status?
We will send out three emails to you. The first email will come to you after the campaign is complete. The second email will provide you the estimated shipment date. The third email will provide you the shipment detail. You can reach us anytime at info@surf-wheel.com for enquires.

5. Can I travel Surfwheel SU with me on flight?
We've traveled with Surfwheel R1/SU on many occasions. We recommend adding the Surfwheel to your luggage and removing the battery to carry on separately. Consult your airline and airport authority for more details.

6. What is the Warranty for SU?
Surfwheel warrants to the original purchaser that the batteries are free of defects in battery, motor and electronic components for 1 year from the original date of purchase.
