Description
Easily check your internet connection quality on the menu bar!
The ping updates in realtime, so you can monitor the internet connection and know if something is wrong immediately.
You can change the ping destination (default is google.com) to other destination, to check the connection quality from your Mac to the specific server region.
You can also change the ping interval seconds.
Check your internet connection quality before starting a video conference, uploading large files or playing multiplayer games!

I kept having connection problems in google hangouts. This was great to help me known when it was my internet connection was the problem.
works as advertized
out of all of the similar apps available, this is the only one that worked as expected, and has the ability to set the ping target and time interval.
Unmitigated piece of junk
Not sure if abandonware or just junk, but it doesn’t do anything except display “Error” or “Time out” despite connectivity being currently okay. Tried different hostnames (it says “URL” which suggests it’s not really using PING but just hitting websites, but full URLs don’t work either) to no avail.
