This educator uses Assembly to teach graphic design, and the results are awesome
Chris Gaghan is a middle school visual arts teacher in Ohio who started using Assembly when it came out – he used it as an activity for students who had finished work early. A few years in, Assembly added more features and he launched a graphic design unit. For the past few years, he’s had 150 students per year work on Assembly in his graphic design unit.

Pixite is an award-winning app company that believes in the transformative power of creativity. We design apps that are loved by both beginners and professionals. Our goal is to provide tools that get out of your way so that you can seamlessly create the vision in your mind. The creative process is arduous, exhilarating, and formative, and our apps seamlessly support you on that journey.
You can find all of our apps on the App Store. You know the drill – log in with your Apple ID and follow the prompts.
Our apps have monthly and annual (supersaver!) subscription options.
Subscriptions automatically renew unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. We’ll send you a heads up to let you know when your renewal is around the corner.
If you sign up for a monthly or yearly plan, it will auto-renew each month or year, respectively. The account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period.
We generally support the current iOS version as well as the previous one.
