We calculate burned snacks by determining the equivalent amount of snack calories based on your calories burned. This involves dividing your calories burned by the calorie count of a snack to find the corresponding amount of burned snacks.
No, it is not recommended to consume the burned snacks after your workout. Fitsnack is designed to visualize the calories you've burned in a fun and relatable way, but it's not intended to promote unhealthy eating habits. It's important to maintain a healthy diet and exercise regularly for overall well-being.
Yes, you can still add a custom activity description. Fitsnack appends the burned snacks to your existing activity description.
To revoke access to Fitsnack, please visit 'My Apps' in your Strava Dashboard. Click the 'Revoke Access' button next to the Fitsnack app. Please note that revoking access will remove Fitsnack from your Strava account and will prevent it from updating your activity descriptions in the future. Removing Fitsnack has no effect on previously updated activities, but it will prevent further updates to your activity descriptions in the future.
We support all activity types as long as we receive the burned calories from your activity.

Weight missing
Strava needs your weight to accurately calculate your calories burned. You can enter your weight in the Strava Dashboard (https://www.strava.com/settings/profile) under 'My Profile' and 'Weight'.
Not enough calories burned
If you're not seeing burned snacks, it could be because you haven't burned enough calories for a snack based on your customization. Please review your selected snack preferences in your Fitsnack profile.
Permissions missing
Please double-check your granted permissions. You can click the 'Connect with Strava' button again to verify your permissions.
We save only your Strava user id and your selected snack preference, which are necessary for updating your Strava activities as you record them. We do not store any data about your Strava activities.
Fitsnack needs permissions to access your Strava data so that it can track your burned calories and update your activity descriptions with your burned snacks.
View data about your public profile
This permission is necessary for all Strava apps by default.
View data about your (private) activities
Fitsnack requires this permission to receive notifications whenever you record a private or public Strava activity.
Upload your activities from Fitsnack to Strava
This permission allows Fitsnack to update your Strava activity description with the burned snacks.
