"Clearly the future we're headed for" - Fast Company
"This Gadget Can Transform Into Anything You Need" - Fast.Co.Exist
"Reduce e-waste from technology obsolescence" - 3D Printing Industry
Hi, we are an ambitious little company called Nascent. The idea of a world with less waste, cooler stuff, and lower costs for better devices sounds like a pretty nice place to live.
Do you agree?
I Had a feeling you would. :-)
Nascent is a system of interchangeable pieces that snap together to form different gadgets in the matter of moments.
We scoured the web and landed on 600 typical electronic products. We were dumbfounded to learn that a system of only 15 modular parts could "build" the lion's share of them.
We Want To Help You Live BIG With A Lot Less Waste
If you are the type of person who cares about the environment and likes to enjoy the latest in cool technology, I have a feeling we are all going to get along just fine.
You and I “Get” that filling landfills with outdated gadgets is about as smart as busting the budget on the latest flavor of gadget just because it has one new feature.
Just Go Modular and grab only the new feature, less for the landfills, less money out of your pocket, and more awesomeness from your gadgets.
Neat huh? :-)
With the Nascent system, you're not stuck with single-use products that go obsolete almost overnight, but rather you extend the life of your gadgets, reuse pieces to reduce waste and get more for less money.
Go Modular Today
We are launching the Nascent system with a bundle of 3 useful home gadgets. The bundle includes 5 modules and 3 shapes that combine to make 3 different useful gadgets for the price of 1:
By backing this campaign you will be among the first to get access to this modular system and will be first in line for new products as they become available.

It’s simple, it works, and it can make a BIG impact on your water use in a way you'll barely even notice.
Long story short, Droppler is a breakthrough device that helps you save up to 30% at the tap. And almost as much fun to play as XBox.
Almost...

Droppler makes your water use visible in real-time helping you change your habits for the better.
How Your New Nascent Gadgets Work
All the gadgets built with Nascent use a system of Modules and Shapes. Swap Modules between Red, CouCou and Droppler. (And whatever else you decide to build as time goes by)
It's a simple as changing the batteries in your remote control! Unlike dinosaur single-use traditional products, with Nascent, you're in control and can create the exact products you want when you want them.
Products and gadgets that are unique to you and your needs
Be The Master of Limitless Variety
We are working with design schools, engineers, interaction designers, brands, and product developers who are bringing their amazing ideas to life with the Modules and Shapes.
Oh, yeah, and listening closely to our customers.
The sky’s the limit for what the modules you back in this campaign right now can become next!
Heck, we’re pretty proud of our Buddy drone, so not even the sky will be the limit!

Our Story
Politics, superstitions, and attitudes as far as the eye could see.
By developing our modular system, we've made designing and manufacturing consumer electronics faster and easier than ever, and most importantly, it's in the hands of the people that matter most, the ones that get to them. (You!)
People have called our goals to revolutionize consumer electronics crazy and audacious. That’s when we knew we were really on to something.
One “Old School” manufacturer even called our product line a “Hoverboard” (A synonym for “can't be done”).
We DID get it done, and for a little extra fun, we now proudly name one of our systems “Hoverboard” as a badge of honor.
Our vision for modularity doesn’t fit the way manufacturing “works” or the way products are sold and, to be honest, it scares some people.
We won't let that stop us from realizing a future where we the consumers have choice and control of their devices and where products are reused rather than wasted.
If you are audacious and visionary (Or just like saving a LOT of money), we want you by our side helping to make a difference in how consumer electronics are made and owned.

What Users Are Saying
Challenges Overcame & Still Left To Conquer
We are a fully funded, venture backed company. You are not backing a product that needs additional funding beyond the $70k we are seeking to fulfill the orders we receive in this campaign.
Our modules and shape process have been completed and are already in use by some big companies in Silicon Valley for their own product development. The challenges left in the project are: (1) to gather more data for the Droppler's audio recognition algorithm and make sure we have coverage over a wide-variety of sinks and faucets (2) to fine-tune the software UX for Droppler and (3) finalize the scale-up of manufacturing for the Porcelain exterior of Droppler.
In Short, Final Touches to an already great product line.
