Description
Chemtrix is a fun arcade style puzzle game where your goal is to build molecules to progress through the game. There are 24 levels to work your way through, and on your journey you will discover the deepest secrets of the universe - how atoms bond and the structures and properties of the molecules they form.
You can also play in 'free fall' mode, where new atoms drop continuously into the game board and your goal is to keep building molecules until you out of space.
This is a fun game informed by real chemistry, the molecular structures you create and the way the atoms bond to each other are true to life. And extra features like lewis-dot notation and accurate energy calculations will delight discerning chemists.

See AllFun chemistry game, suitable for different level players
This is a fun game, slow to start with but once you get to advanced level, it gets more and more exciting and full of surprises! I like the way it made atoms seem so touchable, whilst it had always been abstract for me before. My chemistry is about secondary school level, and sometimes I had no clue what molecule I’m building, but I can still keep playing and not feeling daunted, and hopefully getting some knowledge about chemistry in the play!
Poorly executed
I’m glad I only paid 99p for the extra levels, and by extra I mean more than the basic 9 levels. The game is glitchy and the touch screen interface is poor which combine to cause molecules to randomly fly across the screen and into the dark matter thus failing the level. Some levels are badly designed: all you can do for many of them is keep making O2 or H2 until you build the temperature up to complete the level. One level just consists of doing nothing until enough hydrogen spawns, bonds itself and then raises the temperature without any input from the player. I like the idea but it needs to be better executed
AMAZING!!!
If you are possibly stuck in science and want to get increasingly better then this is the app for you. Plus this game is in early release so Roxy_Fox and all you other people who written bad reviews should give the creator of this fantastic game a break.
Look I’m not the “sciencey” type of guy but this game made me like chemistry even more!
